B.R.I.D.G.E. connects the production PLC to the R&D stack: an OPC-UA bridge lets Node-RED tap into the live PLC and drive the gemaal typicals (the standardised control blocks) directly. It's the physical/edge link that makes everything EVOLV does on real stations possible.
The PLC hardware (PO 235864) and the electrical installation by Hoppenbrouwers (PO 238861) are the physical side; the RFC %-aanpassing of the gemaal-typical is the software side. No own savings — it's the enabler; the energy prize is booked on EVOLV's machineGroupControl.
Samen met Hoppenbrouwers ontwikkelde software die de PLC-typicals in Siemens aan OPC UA koppelt, zodat communicatie in twee richtingen mogelijk werd. Getest met de echte typicals (TRL 7).
