This is the node that coordinates several rotatingMachines to meet a required flow or demand at the lowest possible energy cost. Instead of each pump or blower running on its own simple logic, machineGroupControl looks across the whole group and picks the combination and set-points that are most efficient, moment to moment.

This is where the biggest energy prize in EVOLV sits: across the water board’s pumping and aeration plant, smarter group control has the potential to save well over €1 million per year in energy.
