Algae reactor
A physical algae-reactor experiment: can algae do part of the aeration and nutrient uptake that a treatment plant normally spends a lot of energy on? Algae produce oxygen and consume nitrogen and phosphorus, so a working reactor could mean cleaner water with less blower energy. Pure research for now.
Early build: dissolved-oxygen & pH sensors (ELSCOLAB) plus reactor materials (Wesemann, PlantedBox). No savings booked — exploratory research.
